So let’s start with the five questions…Who, What, When, Where, and Why.
The two main “Whos” are wedding professionals such as caterers, bands, DJs, photographers, videographers, decorators, cake bakers….and your guests, family and friends that are coming together for your celebration.
The “What” is what type of reception you want to have. When you picture your Omaha Reception in your mind, is it fancy, or informal, big or intimate, wild or dignified
When will you have your reception? Right after the ceremony or later in the evening. This depends on what your reception will be and also what else you might want to do on your wedding day. More on this in later videos….
Where are you going to hold your reception? Is it going to be at a hotel ballroom, a wedding reception hall, at your ceremony location, maybe even in your mom’s backyard.
And finally Why is it that we are having a reception. For most brides it is a time to celebrate and interact with family and friends that came to your wedding. You want to be happy, relaxed, and have a lot of fun.
