BJ and Emily got married this past weekend – what a fun day!
When BJ’s brother was married 2 years ago, he and his bride did a wedding day music video (check out “If I Had A Million Dollars” on our website, www.OmahaWeddingVideo.com). BJ enjoyed it so much, that he and Emily elected to do one as well, to “Love Shack” by the B-52’s. Emily and I started the day at the salon, where we recorded a number of the lyrics, complete with bridesmaids singing into hairbrushes and hairspray cans. Our third camera-person, Keith, captured similar footage of the groom during his preparations (watch for the guitar hero scenes!).Their ceremony was at Mary our Queen Church in Omaha. After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party drove around in a Limo Bus, stopping at the Delta House to watch the Kentucky Derby (she is a serious horse person) and went to a park to record more of the music video. The final run-through was done at the reception, and the resulting music video should be a blast.
But – I wasn’t at the park filming the music video – bummer – but why not? Because BJ and Emily also had requested our most popular item, our “Ultimate Reception Entertainment Package”. What is that? It’s a short photo montage presentation, love story, and instant edit from your wedding day, combined to wow your guests at your reception. Your story, from baby pictures right up to “You may kiss the bride”. Theirs was a big hit at the reception!
Their reception was at Champions Run. All in all, a wonderful celebration of their new life together.
