Pre-ceremony Sample Videos
Every wedding is unique - so is every wedding video. Input from you helps us produce a wedding video that you will cherish for years to come. Here are some differing styles of pre-ceremony coverage that we have produced:
Elegant, romantic pre-ceremony- Nick and Joanna selected an elegant romantic approach to their pre ceremony video. The couple had a number of objects that were important to them at their wedding and reception; we were sure to capture them on their pre-ceremony video to establish the emotions and feelings of the couple on this special day. |
Emotionally Charged - Michala's wedding theme centered on red - red roses, red bridesmaid's dresses, and a lush floral setting for their ceremony. We extended that theme and used the roses to tie the pre-ceremony video together, to add emotion and meaning to their video. |
Sentimental - Becky and Joe are big Disney fans. When You Wish Upon a Star seemed only natural when selecting music for their pre-ceremony video. |

Highlight Sample Videos
Your wedding day may go by very quickly, sometimes even seeming like a blur. The highlights of your wedding day video is a great way to relive your memories, and is fun to share with friends and family.
Joanna and Nick - The most frequent question we get is “Are those real fireworks?” Yes they were. Joanna and Nick were married the night of the Omaha Sesquicentennial Celebration. We got permission for them to go onto the roof of the downtown hotel (with our camera person and their photographer) to watch the display – and I just loved this particular frame, where the fireworks formed a heart shape over their heads. Inspired by Shrek, “Accidentally In Love” was an upbeat, fun song that really captured their personalities and the fun they had on their wedding day. |
Becky and Joe - Becky and Joe had their wedding at St. Johns (Creighton) and their reception at Creighton Prep – site of their first date (Homecoming, Sophomore year) and in between had a blast recording their music video. They are both huge Disney fans, so we selected this song, “Promise”, which is the song played at Epcot Center after the closing fireworks each night. We borrowed some stylistic elements from other videos posted on Disney’s site to produce this romantic highlights video. |
Laurie and John - Laurie and John loved this song, by East Mountain South, and it inspired a dreamy, floaty feeling when we edited this piece – leading to the highlights “floating” through footage of their first dance. |
Andrea and Mark - their outdoor wedding was threatened by rain, but everything turned out for the best! As Mark’s aunt married them beside a lovely lake, they had no attention to pay to the clouds – only to each other. Their vows became a pivotal moment in this highlights piece and really reflected their day as a whole. |
Sample Music Videos
One fun, stress-relieving activity to consider for your wedding day is shooting your own music video. You select a song and learn the lyrics, then lip-synch to the song at locations of your choice. Notice in the samples below how much fun the bride, groom, and guests are having! And, it takes less time than you would think - usually about an hour over the course of the day.
Amber and Lada chose "I Got You Babe"
for their music video. It was shot at their apartment, the rehearsal dinner, and during the wedding day and reception. You might notice one scene toward the end that looks a bit different - these are Lada's parents, in the Czech Republic - we sent Amber and Lada with a video camera when they went to visit his parents last December, so that they could be in the music video even though they couldn't travel to attend the wedding. |
Emily and BJ chose the song "Love Shack"
for their Wedding Day music video. It was shot during a few hours between their ceremony and reception, at a park, a bar (they stopped to watch the Kentucky Derby), and at the reception, as well as short segments at the beauty salon and the groom's home. It was great fun for everyone involved! |
Nick and Joanna selected the song I'm a Believer for their music video. They asked us to produce it as though the Monkees were shooting it today. Much fun and silliness reigned during the production of this video. It was done in half an hour between the ceremony and reception (scenes on church steps) as well as during the bride and groom preparations and one quick take at the wedding. |
Becky and Joe selected this song, If I Had a Million Dollars, and the creativity just flowed. We spend several hours with them (prior to the wedding day) deciding on props, locations, etc. to go with the lyrics of the song. Never mind that it was 95 degrees in July - we had a blast doing this in the time they had between the ceremony and reception, as well as a few shots during preparations and the reception. |
Laurie selected this song, Johnny Angel, to make a surprise music video for her new husband, John. John had been a model in the 60s, and Laurie had a classic picture of him to use in the video. Laurie also added her own unique twist to the video - she is a great singer, and we recorded her singing the song using a karaoke track for her background, and used that for the music in her video. John loved the surprise! And - the adorable little girl in the video is the bride's daughter -she had a blast doing this too! |
Adam's wedding took place shortly after the Run Away Bride story out of Georgia. While not a typical music video - no lip synching - the groom and groomsmen made this one up on the fly and details were added as it got funnier and funnier! |

We attended a seminar in California in Spring of '07, as part of our continuing education to become the best possible wedding videographers we can be. The seminar "rented" a bride and groom (a client of the videographer that ran the seminar) and we shot this footage on a lovely beach, on a somewhat overcast day. We each shot footage during the seminar, and edited our pieces independently.
